Lauren & Josh | Wedding
Isle of Wight
Lauren & Josh's incredible DIY wedding on the Isle of Wight is one I’ll remember for a long while!
The day started off at Laurens family home, where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The excitement and emotion of the day had been building all morning and came to ahead when Lauren got into her dress and stepped down stairs to be seen by her parents and bridesmaids. She looked stunning and the faces of her Mum and Dad said it all.
We headed over to Shalfleet Church, where Josh was waiting to see his bride. The Ceremony was full of love, joy and emotion. A highlight being a time of informal prayers lead by Josh's Grandad, friends and family were invited to the front to pray for the couple. It was particularly moving! The reception was held next door at Shalfleet village hall where Josh & Lauren, with the help from their friends and family in the days prior, had set up a candle and fairy light covered marque with hay bales benches and long trestle tables. It looked amazing. Every detail was thought of, even the tea light holders were hand carved into branches.
I loved so much about Josh & Lauren’s DIY wedding, beautiful flowers, amazing speeches (laughs and tears), and an epic tandem sparkler send off.
A massive thankyou to Josh and Lauren for having me along and being apart of your day, I loved it!
